AP/SE 2025

The Artists’ Television Access Window Gallery in San Francisco is seeking submissions for Almost-Public/Semi-Exposed 10, our tenth annual month-long festival of installed performance art.

Past festivals have included performances in a variety of formats including video, dance, public-intervention, spatial exploration, durational poetry and more which were experienced by thousands of passers-by.

From December 1st – 30th we are hoping to host as many performers as possible to turn the ATA Window into an epicenter of constant live performance.

Rules:
– Projects cannot be sexist, anti-lgbtqi+, racist or employ racial interpretations or stereotypes.
– Work must be non-commercial in nature (no advertising for real-world products or corporations).
– Performances must be silent during screenings at Artists’ Television Access and from 10pm to 9am out of courtesy for our neighbors.
– No violence against animals.
– Because of the extremely public nature of the space, full nudity and sexual penetration are not allowed.
– All fluids, paints and powders must be completely cleaned before the next performance.
– No open flames
– No damage or permanent alteration to the space.
